What can I do about June wedding blues?
Honor the emotions and do not try to push them under. Life can bring a variety of emotions and pushing them deeper, or allowing them to push you into bitterness, is not a healthy way to process them. Seeing friends or family walking down the aisle can surface feelings of disappointment.

You have a choice. Feed Satan's promptings and it will take you under. Or share your disappointments with God and leave them with Him. Since there is so much focus on "love" during June, take the initiative and create activities with friends/family that will be satisfying.

What is the most common mistake made by single adults?
The one that jumps out is the fact that so many single adults move too quickly in the initial stages of relationships. The emotions are being fueled with attention and the assumption is made that all is compatible. Couples race ahead with expressions of love and physical contact. Boundaries are dropped and conclusions prematurely developed that this is their long lost love. This expeditious approach returns a high percentage of heartaches and trampled emotions. There is no shortcut to a fulfilling relationship.

Dinner For Eight - A gathering for Christian singles

The Concept - Each guest will be seated for dinner, at a table for 8 (4 guys/4 gals) where they will enjoy great food and fellowship while meeting new people. After dinner, each guest will rotate to a different table for dessert and coffee where they will meet 7 more Christian Singles. It's an excellent way to make new friends and acquaintances.
