We are in Love. I wanted to write to you and thank you for allowing God to use you to bring me the one my soul loves, as it says in Song of Solomon. I had been on the Cafe for over a year and dated a few men, but nothing ever came of it. I had my heart broken a few times, but kept trying. I became discouraged this past October and decided to end my membership. Then on a free five days after my member ship expired, I just did a search and it is there I saw John. I wrote him a quick letter just to say hello, thinking nothing. He wrote back and sounded very sweet. My free days ended and we continued to write off the Cafe.
We realized that we had a lot in common, but John was at a time in his life of willing to move at the drop of a hat for a job. He had been applying to places all over the USA. I then wrote him and said: "Well I guess we are meant to be friends because I am settled here on Long Island with a wonderful job, family, and church life so if you want to pursue me then you will have to move here eventually."
John then planned to come visit me and said he was willing to pursue me first before he considered any job. The rest is history, because three weeks after our first date, he moved here. He found an apartment 3 minutes from mine! On February 12th John proposed to me in the most romantic way I can imagine. He snuck into my apartment and decorated it with roses and a treasure hunt for the ring. As I went throughout my apartment. he played our love song "When God Made You" and I was in tears.
God has made all my dreams come true in a matter of a few months and John is everything I need. So many times we look for what "we want", but God knows what we need.
Thank you again ChristianCafe.com for being the vessel that brought me my love. We are to be married on October 1, 2005. God Bless!

In September 2004 we met on ChristianCafe.com. In October we started talking on the phone. Thanksgiving weekend we met face-to-face for the first time. On New Year's Eve we were married!
Only the grace of God could make this happen. We can't thank you enough for allowing God to work through ChristianCafe.com in bringing us together. We've each met the love of our lives and we couldn't be happier.

I am just writing to tell you how my husband and I met on ChristianCafe.com web site. We started corresponding in April 2003. After that we met for the first time in June 2003. He lived in Indiana and I lived in Illinois. We started making the four hour drive to see each other every weekend.
We got married on October 16th, 2004.
I'd like to encourage other single Christians who are looking for the right person to not be afriad of the Internet. As long as you use a few simple guidelines to keep yourself safe, it is a great way to meet people that you just wouldn't meet otherwise. Thanks to ChristianCafe.com!

THE BRIDE AND GROOM WILL MEET AT THE ALTAR. Blen, from Canada, sent me a Cafe message in early October 2004. We soon fell in love and a month and a half later he proposed and we started planning our wedding without ever having met. We are getting married on March 11th 2005 and we still have not met. We have no doubt that the Lord brought us together. He has confirmed it in so many ways. When we started thinking this was too good to be true, the Lord gave me Habakkuk 2:3 "wait for it, it will surely come true and it won't be long" so we claimed this promise and here we are.
Blen is everything I ever wanted in a man. I prayed for a Godly man that would fall in love with me and that I would fall in love with and that we would live many years together. We talk for hours on the phone every day and ask many questions. We pray together and we pray for others. Blen has been teaching me the book of Acts in depth over the phone at least once a week. We read and discuss a Christian book to prepare us for marriage, something to foolproof our marriage.
Blen is the most romantic man I have ever met; he writes me poetry and there is never a day that goes by when he doesn't tell me he loves me and show his love and how much he cares for me in email or cards, roses, etc. We discussed rings and he bought the rings and he has bought his airline and made hotel accomodations. Everything is set for us to meet on March 9th in Arlington, Texas, my hometown. On the 10th we will obtain our marriage license and get married on the 11th.
We have exchanged many photographs and have described each other as best as possible but we are still anxious about the day we meet, even though we have decided to accept each other no matter what. The way we see it, this is an arranged marriage, arranged by God himself and we will be obedient to His direction. Personally, I feel so much love in my heart for this man that I do not have 1 millionth of a doubt that he is the one. He feels the same way. My pastor requested a letter from his pastor (character reference letter) and his pastor responded with great references.
So now all I can ask is that you all pray for us, and Thank you, Thank you, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this possible. God bless you all. This website is well worth it, I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
On March 11th, we are getting married by court, just us and close family members. However, on October 27th (Blen's birthday) we will try and have a more formal church wedding.
I am so grateful, I thought of announcing our meeting to the media and giving ChristianCafe.com some attention but I really don't know how to go about it.
I will get back to you and tell you how everything went, so until then God bless you all.
