I was lonely, depressed, and unsaved, when I posted my profile in October 2003. On December 13, I read a profile of a man from Ontario, and thought, "Wow! This man is really knowledgeable about the Lord", but, being unsaved, I felt too intimidated to contact him.
Later I had new mail. It was the man whom I had been wanting to contact! I quick messaged him right away, and we began to talk. I was so excited and encouraged! Once he realized that I was not saved, he preached to me and answered my questions, for over SIX HOURS! Finally, it was as though a light had been turned on and suddenly everything became so clear to me. I asked Jason to pray with me, and at just after 4:30 a.m. on December 14, 2003, I received the Lord, Jesus Christ, into my heart and into my life. PRAISE GOD!
Shortly afterwards, Jason and I decided to begin to develop a long distance relationship, and he has been instrumental in helping me to learn about the Lord
In February 2004, Jason bought me a plane ticket to fly to Ontario to visit him. I also met his family and his church family. Then Jason came here to Saskatchewan in March to meet my family and new church family. On March 14, on my three month spiritual birthday, my pastor allowed Jason to baptize me in my church. This was such a blessed day!
We plan to get married in Saskatchewan in 2005, and immediately after our wedding, we will return to Ontario as husband and wife.

After being introduced to ChristianCafe.com by separate friends, Amanda and I decided to try out your service, starting in September 2003. I have canceled my membership simply because my search is OVER! Thank you very much for your service. I (briansayshi826) began corresponding with karlexa766 on February 19, 2004. On March 10 we started talking on the phone and have continued daily without fail since then. On 12 April I flew down to Florida from NJ to meet her in person and we "hit it off" in amazing ways! By my third day there we just knew we should be "together" so we had the "big talk" and are now officially in a committed relationship!

A warm thank you for your wonderful site. I met my girlfriend on ChristianCafe.com a few months back and there's no turning back for either of us now. We are very much in love and we are talking about getting married. We feel the Lord has led us to each other and we've become inseparable.
At one time I honestly did not feel I would ever meet my soul mate. I'd gone through so much pain, hurt and disappointment that I'd given up on ever finding that so-called elusive soul mate.
The Lord has truly blessed me with Jodie. She is more then I ever expected. (She loves my cooking and in turn I have grown to love her dog; great trade I thought!)

One lady in ChristianCafe.com sent me a message, at first I was skeptical. After looking at her profile I liked everything about her but her age. I was in my early 30s and she was in her early 20s. I told her this but she had no problem.
So began a journey of friendship and I soon realized how much I like her. We have communicated via the Internet and through the phone, and have exchanged photos, but so far we have never met in person.
It is now 2 years since we first met in ChristianCafe.com, and we are still very much keen on keeping the relationship, which has been going on in 3 continents. First she was in the USA, then she moved to Europe, then Africa, and back to Europe again. It is an interracial relationship but I am not afraid. In September 2004 I will be moving to Europe to further my education; finally after 2Ohm years we will meet, God willing.

Through your site I have met an angel. When it appeared there was more than just friendship in our CafE messages, we both began to pray for God's will to be opened to us, and so we met, in neutral territory :->. Now we are praying in earnest because God appears to be standing off to one side saying, " Yes, go ahead, but continue to walk in My way, I will lead you."
After returning home and waking up to ponder the future, I opened my Bible to the next chapter in Psalms that I was going to read which was Psalm 13. We are facing big decisions about the future and the implications are daunting. I wasn't looking for a particular piece of scripture for encouragement or help, I was simply reading the next chapter. I was in awe when I read it. The New International Bible (NIV) puts it so clearly:
"How long must I wrestle with my thoughts. Look on me and answer O Lord my God. Give light to my eyes. But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, for He has been good to me."
Now wasn't that timely?
With that passage we are going into the future with God at the wheel. We have many meetings and time together yet to come and I'm so looking forward to them. Thank you again, staff at the Cafe, we rise and call you blessed!

I met my husband by becoming a member of your website. God worked recently through your matching and meeting process to bring the love of my life and father to my young four year old son. My first husband had died suddenly of heart failure after 11 years of marriage.
The first person I mailed in the Cafe unveiled himself to be the man God was keeping for me. Daniel has been my kinsman redeemer as David was to Abigail. He lived in Fort Worth Texas, and I in Houston, Texas. It was not a coincidence that God allowed me to overlook the city he lived in when I mailed him. We have been married almost 2 months now and are totally and completely in love. Christ has blessed our marriage abundantly.
