President Biography

Prior to working in the online dating industry, Sam Moorcroft had a varied background: forest management, direct marketing, consulting, project management, and various entrepreneurial endeavors. He has an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business (Canada's Harvard). Sam co-founded ChristianCafe.com with his brother, Philip, in 1998. Philip also has an MBA from the same School.

Sam met his wife, Pollyanna, via a woman he had met online on another service, prior to launching ChristianCafe.com. Polly was the company’s chief marketer, helping to build the company until the birth of their twins (boy/girl) in 2005. Polly gave birth to another set of twins (girl/boy) in February, 2009.
