In November 2004 I received a Cafe message from Cory, who was acting on a whim. Cory asked me to check out his profile and reply if I was interested.
I was flattered and replied immediately. After corresponding back and forth online, Cory called me that same week. He expressed a desire to meet me in person as soon as possible to avoid false impressions.
Thus, the following weekend, December 10th, Cory and I each drove an hour through the pouring rain to meet in Allentown, Pennsylvania, at a half way point from where we were both living at the time, for a dinner date.
Our first encounter was awkward, both of us being very nervous, and we did not present our true selves. However, we both believed in another try, and over time our love grew into what it is today.
On August 11th, 2005, after a romantic sunset cruise, Cory proposed to me on Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, with waves crashing and a star filled sky.
Cory and I were married on June 16th, 2007. We couldn't be happier!
God knew what He was doing when we both happened upon ChristianCafe.com. Thank you so much! Without Christian Cafe Cory and I may never have crossed paths.

I am writing to let everyone know how wonderful ChristianCafe.com is, and if you are thinking of joining I would recommend it.

My husband and I actually met several days after we each joined ChristianCafe.com.
I received an email to try your service. At first I was not sure if I wanted to, but thought that it would not hurt.
I am a Baptist and usually would not look for someone who was not a Baptist, but decided to see what would happen.
I came across a really nice guy with a great picture, but what really got me was he said that he was a Messianic Jew. I had never heard the term and was curious to know more.
So I sent a simple Cafe message in April 2005 asking what Messianic Jew meant, and his reply changed my life forever. After some messaging, we exchanged phone numbers, and we met in person on June 18, 2005.
My future husband came to a concert at my church that the Christian Band I was in was putting on for the public, and I knew it was love at first sight.
By Thanksgiving 2005 we were engaged. We married on May 6, 2006 and just celebrated our first wedding anniversary.
I want singles to know not to get discouraged in their singleness. I did get discouraged and was so miserable for a very long time.
When I hit 30 I thought it was the end of the world, because like most women I had spent my life dreaming of getting married and having children. I got really mad at God for not bringing the man for me into my life, but God knows what He is doing, and just the right time when you are ready to met that person.
When we married I was 31 and my husband was 36.
My husband is from Guatemala and I could not meet him until he came to the US. It was not the way that we would have planned to meet, but it was God's perfect timing.
Enjoy your singleness and before you know it you will be spending your life with someone hand picked by God!

In 2001 I met a girl on ChristianCafe.com who was a lawyer, but the relationship just didn't work out.
So five years later, after rejoining Christian Cafe, when lawgirl986's profile kept popping up on my searches I was reluctant to read on.
But when I finally read Nicole's answers to the profile questions I thought she was writing about me. I was compelled to send her a message.
Nicole did not write back immediately. Then out of the blue, I got a Cafe message from her and my attraction to her was rekindled.
We finally met in person six weeks from my first message and haven't looked back since. Seven months later, we were married in San Diego.
Thank you ChristianCafe.com for being used by God to bring us together.

We are married! We met in the Cafe on February 7, 2007, fell in love, met in person on March 3, 2007. Yes, in that order!
On our first date we met at the Asheboro Zoo, in front of the Polar Bears. We then went for early dinner and called it a day.
It was a day full of GREAT memories.
We eloped on August 2, 2007. It has been an AWESOME 6 months. David has two teenagers that are fantastic.

I was a bit skeptical at first at the idea of meeting someone online.
The generosity of an anonymous gift brought lovebirds Erica and Doug together
I signed up for ChristianCafe.com in January 2006. I really wanted to meet someone with similar Charismatic beliefs and values, however I would search for a couple of days and then just give up.
I would read the odd Cafe message once in awhile, but never felt I connected with anyone. I was very discouraged at this point and really cried out to God.
I really wanted a breakthrough in my life, so I started a 30 day fast and prayed in regards to the whole dating thing.
On May 13th, 2007 someone bought me a 3 month gift membership! I couldn't believe it, what a blessing!
I thanked God, blessed the member, and from then on I felt God wanted me to start using ChristianCafe.com again.
I came across Doug's profile shortly after and really liked it. The Holy Spirit told me to contact Doug, so I sent him a Cafe message on May 21, 2007. He sent me a reply message on May 22nd, and the 23rd. As we talked online we found we had similar beliefs.
Doug gave me his phone number, but I was hesitant to phone him, because I tend to be a bit shy.
The next evening though, the Holy Spirit told me to phone him! I was nervous as I dialed Doug's number, but still excited to see what God was going to do.
Doug was super easy-going and talkative on the phone, and that night we ended up talking for 4 and a half hours! I couldn't wait to talk to him the next day, and I couldn't get him out of my mind.
We talked for a couple more days and decided to meet on June 1st, since we both felt compatible. So on June 1st Doug came to meet me, and even brought me pink roses, and some teddies for my son.
That really touched my heart, and I definitely had a good feeling about everything. We decided to go for dinner, and fellowship. I couldn't stop smiling at him, he was totally cute and sweet. We ended up talking till pretty late.
We both prayed about God's will for dating, and on June 4th, Doug's birthday, we decided to hang out! We went for dinner, and fellowshipped.
Shortly after we started talking about what we desired in regards to that special someone. We hung out at a friend's house, and on the way back Doug asked me to be his girlfriend.
I was so happy as I quickly answered Yes. So on June 4th we became a couple!
We've hung out many times since then and have had a blast getting to know each other. We pray together, and fellowship, and just love to be together.
God has been showing us awesome things, and revealing things to us, and we feel God's going to do big things for us in the future. Praise God!

My husband Bob and I met on your site in December 2003. Bob was looking for new friends in the city he was about to move to, and I was praying for a godly Christian husband.
The Lord answered my prayers! Bob sent me a Cafe Quick Message immediately after I had prayed (yet again) that the Lord would give me a godly husband. I didn't realize Bob was "THE ONE" at that time, but after a few messages, several phone calls, and at last, some face-to-face visits, it was very clear this was a man of integrity and honor.
We have been married for 3 1/2 years now, and although we have occasional disagreements, I thank God every day that He put us together!

When I moved to Toronto in 2001, I thought I was just coming here to get my education. Little did I know that God had another plan for me.
I missed my Christian circle from out west and decided to give ChristianCafe.com a try in order to meet other Christians.
I soon began a long online relationship with lovelife. We seemed to have much in common but a suggestion was never made to exchange phone numbers or meet in person. Being a student with limited funds, I only spent 3 months at ChristianCafe.com.
When I let him know that I was going to visit his church, he finally suggested that we meet for coffee. I agreed, but with hesitation. We had been corresponding for 4 months as friends.
It never really occurred to me that this might be the man God had intended for me to marry.
Our "coffee" turned into dinner. I felt instantly at ease with lovelife. There was a visible attraction between us. I was certainly intrigued to get to know him better.
Our next encounter was at church (I was still looking for a home church that was like the one I had out west. Ironically, I had been to this church before but it was too far for me to travel every Sunday. A satellite church opened close to my home soon after we started dating and we have been attending ever since).
The following week was Valentine's Day. He invited me out for a real first date and I accepted. We have been together ever since and our love grows with each passing day.
I cannot thank your organization enough for leading me towards my intended destination. We cannot possibly imagine our lives without each other!
He IS the love of my life! We were married on the 2 year anniversary of the day we first corresponded at ChristianCafe.com and have been married for almost 3 years now!
We have a beautiful baby and a wonderful life. I now believe that true love can happen anywhere. My husband and I are living proof!

I wanted to share this good news with everyone.
In 2004 I met someone from another dating site. At the time I did not feel that the two of us were spiritually yoked.
Just 2 weeks ago that person signed up on ChristianCafe and saw my profile. She reached out and shared her testimony with me.
We have decided to try again and begin a journey together joined in faith. I am looking forward to the blessings that God will bring into our relationship.

Our Eighth Anniversary!
I lived in Iowa and my wife Donna lived in Florida. We joined ChristianCafe.com in 1999. We were married on July 31, 1999.
Today (31 July 2007) is our Eighth Anniversary and we are doing very well. Donna had three teenagers and it was a challenge to "Grow" with them but they are doing well in their chosen professions.
