One of my good friends had used the site to find friends when she moved and encouraged me try it while acclimating to a new city.
I never thought I would find the man I was going to marry on the site! My first contact with Mike was around Thanksgiving 2009. Our first few emails were more like small novels as we discovered our similar interests and experiences.
We actually grew up on the other side of the country only 4 hours away on opposite sides of the border (he in Niagara Falls and me in Cleveland) and both recently relocated to the Pacific Northwest (he to Victoria, BC and me to Seattle). There was a connection even over the computer!
We met in person in December in Victoria and had our first date at Butchart Gardens (even though no one told us there aren't any flowers in December there...) and then walked to Victoria Harbour. We had so much to talk about and it felt like we had known each other forever.
I never felt so much at ease with someone.
From that day on, we've spend hours every night chatting and take the ferry to see each other on the weekends. It didn't take long at all to know without a doubt that this was the man I wanted to marry. God gave me even more than I ever had dreamed for in a man!
We are getting married at the end of this summer and can't wait to start our lives together! Thank you ChristianCafe.com!

We had an immediate bond after our first contact.
Instant messaging turned to sharing email addresses.... turned to sharing phone numbers... turned to our first date just 2 weeks later! March 16, 2002 was a memorable day - our first date.
I lived reasonably close, just 3 hrs away from Scott. We had a wonderful 17-month period of getting to know each other. When he proposed, I knew beyond the shadow of a doubt that he was 'the one'.
We had intense pre-marital counseling from our pastor (because by this time, we were both living in the same city and attending the same church) which really helped. We had both been married before so we wanted to be sure our marriage would be on solid footing from the start.
We were married on August 8, 2003. We are still very happily married and still crazy about each other.
Our 7th wedding anniversary is approaching this year and we thank the Lord each day for the joy of knowing each other and Him! Each day we find so much to be thankful for. ChristianCafe.com was great and we often talk about our first conversations here... "are you new to the Cafe?"
Thank you! I am married to the love of my life!

We were living about an hour and half from each other.
Our first date was May 17th, 2009, a day that changed our lives forever. We felt such a strong connection from the moment we met that we were dating exclusively within a week.
We had a wonderful summer together going to church, reading Christian books together, and spending time outdoors. The distance never kept us apart too long.
We were engaged in January of 2010 and got married this past May 14th, 2010! We are loving married life and are so happy to have finally found each other. We are both in our 30's and waited so long for the Lord to lead us to each other. It was worth the wait!
We are so blessed. The Lord knew exactly what he was doing when He put us together. Travis is the most incredible man I have ever met. I can't believe he found me on your website!
ChristianCafe.com was so easy to use and made it comfortable to meet people. I recommend the site to everyone I know that is single and waiting for the right one!
I thank the Lord every day for my husband but I want to also thank you for maintaining the vessel through which the Lord used to bring us together. God bless!!!

I had joined ChristianCafe.com the day before my birthday after hearing about it from a friend. Matt joined the following weekend. Neither of us had a good reason for joining...we were just curious and a little bored.
God definitely had His own plans....
Matt started by sending a very sweet email. We later progressed to phone. After spending an average of 3 hours a day on the phone with each other, Matt came to Alaska so we could meet for the first time.
By the end of his short three-day visit, we had set a date for our wedding! Three weeks later we met in Oregon--Matt proposed as soon as I walked off the plane in the Portland airport!
Our weekend was spent with his parents in southern Oregon planning our Oregon wedding. After spending Christmas with my parents and visiting Matt's friends in Colorado, he made the huge move to Alaska.
We were married May 22, 2010, seven months after finding each other. Thank you ChristianCafe.com for introducing us to each other!

[Editor's note: See September 2020 for their 10th anniversary post, with 2 children!]
I pray that everybody gets blessed like we have and you keep up the good work helping lost souls find their true love. So would you please close my account - I've got no further use for your help :-) Keep up the good work.

I was seeking a man in my region but could not find any matches on my lovely island, Curacao.
The next day I received an email. I couldn't believe what I was reading: he was telling me that he loves my beautiful island. After a week we decided to meet and after three months we got married, on 22 of December 2005.
We were living very happy & involved enormously in our Catholic Church's activities. He was an Aviation Inspector, so we've traveled a lot and we've spent a huge amount of quality time together; it was the best times of our lives. Sadly, but accepting God's will, he passed away 12th of January 2010, at the Hotel Montana during the terrifying earthquake in Haiti. He travelled just one day before for a business conference.
The reason I share this with you now: We have shared our experience with most Christian peoples around us to honor God for allowing us to meet, but my deceased husband didn't like the idea of sharing our story on your website at that time. He always said: "the day will come...".
Now I feel this is the time! Hereby I would like to thank ChristianCafe.com for letting me experience God's love through my lovely husband whom I will never forget.

I was skeptical of ChristianCafe.com, but no more.
I would have been happy to pay much more than the membership fee at ChristianCafe.com to meet my perfect woman!
Thanks to all the good people at the Cafe and thanks to God!
