Christian Testimony - October 2011

We both were living in Indianapolis when friends helped set accounts up for us. We were each the first person met from the site, and we hit it off right away.

It is strange that we lived in all the same places, but only met through ChristianCafe.com. I was born in Oklahoma, and my husband came from Europe to Oklahoma and was "born again" there.

After that, we both happened to move to West Lafayette IN, then Indianapolis. I worked only a few blocks from where he lived, sharing the same intersection to work everyday.

Through your site we were able to meet in person and since have shared many happy years together. It was always a struggle to meet quality guys that shared my beliefs. The men I met at my church were usually not very datable, and the guys in the bars usually did not share my beliefs.

If it was not for ChristianCafe.com, I might have become a very discouraged, desperate single. Thank you so much, marriage is such a wonderful blessing that you have helped make happen!

Greg is a war veteran and is currently in seminary in Charlotte, NC. And I am a preacher's daughter and flight attendant from Georgia.

I have always asked God that when I met the man I would marry, I would know it immediately and there would be no games, no confusion, no nonsense. I prayed that and had complete faith that in God's timing this would happen.

Greg had been praying for his future wife - that she would be protected from evil men and be protected always.

We both dated along the way, wrong person after wrong person. We both created profiles on ChristianCafe.com in February this year. Both of us happened to be on ChristianCafe.com on a week-long free trial the exact same week in February.

After messaging and several hour long phone calls, we knew we wanted to meet. I (miraculously) had a Charlotte layover soon after, and we decided to get together and grab a bite to eat while I was in Charlotte for a few hours.

When I first saw Greg, and I say this with 100% honesty, I knew I was going to marry him. I can't explain it... and I could not believe it. I couldn't even eat my barbeque sandwich because I was so nervous and excited.

We prayed together, talked non stop, shared our faith and had a great first date. We immediately began dating, long distance. After dating for one month (he would drive down and visit me at my parents' house on weekends) we knew we wanted to be married, and soon.

We got engaged in early April and married July 16th in Georgia. And my Dad walked me down the aisle - and married us!

Love has been in the air ever since we laid eyes on each other on February 26... It was a huge leap of faith from every angle, but by God's love and grace He lead us to each other on ChristianCafe.com.

I give all the praise and glory to God, and thanks to ChristianCafe.com for a great site with a comfortable atmosphere to it.
