Christian Testimony - February 2003

 I created my profile and attached my picture, not really expecting anything to happen, even quite skeptical about it.

I received so many letters and messages and I met several friends and they are all nice people.

Thank you so much for your beautiful web site! Steven and I met here last year. An advertisement of your web site appeared on the screen while I was writing an email for a cousin.

Days after joining, Steven sent me a quick message asking me why I picked the name "musicbox", so I viewed his profile and saw that sweet smile on his face, I had to reply.

Soon we became good friends. We started sharing our faith experiences and how God has touched our lives. We exchanged emails and sent pictures to each other, talked over the phone and chat almost everyday.

We were both so open to each other and our daily chats purified our intentions and motives. It has helped us define more our dreams and goals in this life. Our friendship grew deeper so we decided to meet and promised to have an open mind and heart as the will of God continues to unfold.

We vowed to remain friends no matter what. The thought of meeting him was like meeting someone I have known for a very long time... And so the day came!

He came all the way here to the Philippines from West Virginia, travelled half the globe for us to meet. And right there and then, we knew that it's love. God made a way for us! A miracle happened!

We spent time together here in my native country and he met my family and friends. We made priceless memories that will forever remain in our hearts and they're pure and honest and lovely, simply beautiful!

I can't stop thanking and praising God!

Steven proposed last January 2003 at Lakawon Island, in the middle of the ocean here in the Philippines during one of our trips with the family and some friends. The moment was so perfect.

There was peace in both of our hearts, overflowing joy and gratitude. We are both so happy and we thank you for being God's instrument in bringing our hearts together.

God is faithful to complete the beautiful work He has begun in our lives and ChristianCafe.com has played a major part in that. We will continue to include you in our prayers and may you be blessed even more in uniting hearts and souls for the greater glory of our One True God, Jesus Christ! Laus Deo!

 I decided to try ChristianCafe.com again with little hope that I would actually connect with someone.  

Debbie didn't give up and now look at her - she found Aaron!

Having had no "luck", or better yet, unsuccessful attempts in the past with long distance relationships, I was just a bit skeptical in trying my hand at a Christian site again.

I figured that I would only end up meeting someone from a distant state. A little over a year ago, I had tried out ChristianCafe.com but to no avail. With that said, one day in mid December, I joined again.

Low and behold, God seemed to have other plans, because as I was browsing profiles one day I received a quick message from someone. The interaction began.

I was initially impressed with her physical appearance, but as I read further, what really stood out above all else was Debbie's Godly character...the very thing I desired most in someone I would pursue.

Her passion for God's Word, love for children, a heart for the lost, also being a soccer player, and countless other things really caught my eye. We chatted for a little over a week, shortly thereafter began talking on the phone, and then after prayerful consideration decided it was time for me to go visit her.

I live in Chicago, and she lives in New Jersey, so it wasn't just any short trip across town. That was at the end of December, and since then I have had the opportunity to fly out there twice more in about a one-month period.

God has just blown us away with the way that we are able to encourage each other through the truth of His word. It's definitely a Proverbs experience ("As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another"). We get to share about the frustrations and joys of our work through text messages and phone conversations on a daily basis, and she's coming to Chicago in a week to visit me.

The way HE has drawn us each individually closer to Christ in the time we've been together is the most exciting thing. We are just as excited with what God is doing not only in but also through our relationship. As we daily walk in obedience to the truth of His word, we are trusting that He will further guide us in the relationship He has SO blessed us with.

The qualities I see in Debbie are unmatched, and I am truly grateful that God has brought her into my life!!! Once again, God has shown me that His sovereign plan destroys any thought that "luck" could possibly exist.

 I am getting married on July 12th to an amazing man I met here almost exactly one year ago.

In fact, my nickname for him is "Captain Amazing".

When I was sick, he made homemade chicken soup, if I'm stressed, he'll pick me up for a moonlit drive to the beach, and on those rare occasions that I am discouraged or blue, he will hold me and tell me everything is going to be okay :)

And he's a hopeless romantic. I didn't think that a man with such a fine combination of integrity, chivalry, intellect, humor, respect, and character existed - but thanks to you I found one!

We have become best friends over the last year of dating and feel like two peas in a pod. Also, I am a seminary graduate and I feel called to preach; it takes a very special man to walk side by side with a strong woman in ministry.

Darren is that special man, and he's got a heart of gold... he even calls me every night before bed just to pray for me. Thank you for introducing me to the love of my life.

 I'd had so many problems with meeting women online, I just didn't want to deal with it anymore.  

It changed when I signed up to ChristianCafe.com. I was a member during the year 2000 and re-upped for another year in October, 2002.

Two weeks after I signed up, I met Josie on the cafe. On a whim, I decided to make the four-hour trip from Cape Cod to New York to meet her...and found the woman of my dreams.

Most importantly, she feels the same about me!

  have met the Christian woman of my dreams and prayers!  

It all started back in August of 2002 when I became a member and started browsing the profiles. Of all the responses that I received, and I received many of them, one profile stuck in my mind.

We started chatting and I told her that she was the only reason that I had renewed my membership. She "Instant Messaged" me back and said, "Thank you for finding me!" We continued to email and Sandra finally sent me her phone number.

We had a wonderful visit. After about a month of talking on the phone and getting to know each other better, she was the first to ask when she could meet me.

We set a meeting date of October 4th, 2002. When I met her at the airport, she was more beautiful than I had originally imagined! Her wonderful personality and contagious smile sent the message to my heart that this was the one.

Because we live on opposite sides of the United States, we have since seen each other only 3 times, and I surprised her and proposed on January 16th of this year, the day before her birthday.

She said "Yes," and our wedding date is set for October 4th, 2003, the day that we met.

We talk every night on the phone, and before she goes to sleep I pray with her. She still says "Thanks for finding me."

ChristianCafe.com, you provide a wonderful service, and I encourage others to never give up.

Just think, what would have happened if I had never renewed my membership?

 I believe God used ChristianCafe.com to bring us together because He has been working miracles in our lives almost constantly.  

We lived within 16 miles of each other when we started communicating. Randy invited me to a church singles function and realized we had a lot in common and we were instantly attracted to one another.

We married on January 26, 2003, and we are extremely happy. I know in my heart of hearts we were meant to be together, and we give all the glory to God.

 If it wasn't for ChristianCafe.com and God's direction I would have never met Brent.  

I just wanted to write to encourage people in God. He is the one who makes the plans for our lives, and our time on earth is in His hands.

When I joined ChristianCafe.com, it was because I didn't have any Christian friends. I was very against the idea of actually meeting a guy that could be more than "an occasional chat" about our walks with God.

BUT, God-willing I did meet... a really awesome guy. He challenges me in my spiritual walk, but encourages me all of the time. He has truly turned into a best friend to me.

I don't know what the future holds for us, but we know that our friendship is in God's hands and He will do what He feel will be best. I encourage everyone to pray about what God really wants in your life, and who knows maybe I will have even a better testimonial one day!

 I remember the exciting day clearly!!

We met in June, him coming from New York State all the way to Florida !! We became engaged on October 1, 2002 and we are now planning on getting married in May, 2003.

 I never thought that I would find someone who shared my ideas of marriage, family and for keeping God first.  

My husband and I met on ChristianCafe.com in April 2001 ........met in person during September....my husband drove from West Virginia to Indiana to do so.........

Got engaged in January 2002 and married in April just a year after we met. We feel blessed that God was able to use such a unique tool to bring us together.

If this had not been a Christian service, neither of us would have even considered using...it would have been way too scary! I was beginning to believe that there were no more nice guys out there and that I was doomed to be alone.

After no more than a month online John and I had clicked and our relationship went as fast or as slow as our fingers could type! We have learned never to underestimate from where God is working-he is ALMIGHTY.

 Christian Cafe is the best dating site I've seen so far, secular or non-secular!  

While I have not met my "right match" I have met tons of decent uplifting and sweet men that I feel blessed to know.

Some will probably be my friends for a long time to come. Also your customer service is excellent, from problems ranging from technical to membership issues, you resolved everything speedily and to my utmost satisfaction.

Additionally, Christian Cafe is extremely well organized and user friendly. And as I mentioned before you seem to attract the most wonderful men (i.e. men with depth, character, values, and respect for women!)

 I am one of the great cynics of your website, because I had convinced myself that it was just another site, with just a different name, that would produce the same results -"NADA".  

I have had a membership on ChristianCafe.com on and off since 2001. A few weeks ago, I got a quick message from someone.

We started chatting, which progressed to talking on the phone. We started talking about three weeks ago, met one week after we started talking in person. We have discussed our feelings for one another, and we both agree that there is a powerful force behind our meeting - and He had the help of ChristianCafe.com.

 I want to thank the Lord for leading me to your site way back in October of 2001.  

In December of 2001 I started to correspond with Lana who was also a member at that time. We slowly built a friendship over the next seven months.

Then last summer we started dating. I knew from the outset that Lana was the one God had for me, and boy was it hard waiting for Him to tell her.

Through God's grace, we got engaged on January 11, 2003. We are getting married on August 23rd, 2003!

For all those looking for a relationship heading towards marriage, my advice is to wait upon the Lord and let Him direct your steps. Never get ahead of Him or make a rash decision based on loneliness or your age.

God is able. Psalm 37 gives us the divine principles in waiting. Remember God only has His best in store for you. His best is worth waiting for, no matter where you are in life.

 With you, without Christian Cafe, there would have been nothing on New Year's Eve, just another night out with friends.  

I was thinking that spending my life alone might not be so bad, considering the women I had been dating. I might actually have been better off.

Impossible relationships, God's special gift to me, was impossible relationships. And so while I was on here, I sent a little quick note to a woman with the brightest, most incredible eyes I have ever seen.

That was the beginning, since then, we have become inseparable, the word soulmates comes up quite often. And so on New Year's Eve, 2002, at a party on top of a hotel overlooking Union Plaza in downtown San Francisco, I asked her the question I had nearly lost hope I would ever ask again.

Needless to say, this year promises to be a year I will never forget, as I am going to marry the woman I have always dreamed of finding, on May 17th of this year.

Thank you all for ChristianCafe.com, for your hard work, and for your trust and stoic belief that God does work in all ways possible, all for his greater good.

Christine and I will be residing at our beautiful home in Riverside California, where we hope to enjoy time as a married couple for a while before starting our family.

  I never gave up.  

I came across a wonderful man in October. I emailed him and it took him forever but he emailed me finally. I live in the East Coast and he lives on the West Coast.

I just knew this was going to be a problem. But he still was interested. Well, we conversed for about 2-3 months and he came to see me for my birthday which is in Jan. I was so nervous as me, my son and my father met him at the airport.

Well, to make a long story short, he met my whole family with great approval and plus as a surprise for my birthday he preached at my father's church. What a wonderful gift.

I plan to be with this man forever. We are already talking commitment. Thank you Christian Cafe for your wonderful site.

 In April last year I 'stumbled' across Christian Cafe.  

I was searching for Christian poetry sites and when Christian Cafe came up I thought it was a site for 'posting' poetry, so I visited it.

I was very disconcerted to discover that it was a 'dating' site. Curiosity took over though and I had a look around. Curious to see the kind of 'weirdos' that used the site (and to confirm what I thought I knew, that only perverts etc used sites like that) I posted my profile and did a very thorough search and one name was given to me.

I emailed this man through the site and we began corresponding with each other. We were both very wary as we had been through particularly harrowing and painful divorces very recently (then).

Peter lives in Australia and I live in New Zealand. Peter and I came to believe that God was calling us to be together in marriage and we were beginning to love each other deeply despite never having met in person.

On the 8th of January Peter and his 9 year old daughter came to New Zealand to visit (I have 2 boys - 12 & 13). We just knew that God was telling us that we are 'right' for each other, and on the 14th of January we were engaged.

We will be married in New Zealand on the 4th of July and will return to Australia to live at the end of the year. Thanks so much for providing the 'vehicle' which God used to introduce us to each other. God bless you heaps.

 Christian Cafe is the best thing that has ever happened to me  

It took 41 years, 2 weeks, 10-1/2 hours before I found the one true "soul-mate" of my life, and she happened to me on this site! I (we) truly believe ChristianCafe.com is anointed by the Holy Spirit to bring people together. She spent about a year and was about to give up looking and expecting "a man like me existed."

I spent about three weeks here and "suddenly" (Acts 16:25-26) there was the answer to my Proverbs 31:10-31 "A capable, intelligent, and virtuous woman - who is he who can find her? She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above rubies or pearls."

We both "know" in our "knowers" that this all is of God. We will "meet" in the "flesh" for Valentine's weekend because we have exhausted all other e-mail, snail-mail and esp. telephone (9 hrs per day) resources at our disposal.

Gotta go soon - time to call her again. Bless you all at ChristianCafe. We have not required your services for the last month or so because it does work - sooner for some than others. :-))) he-he-he!!! lol.
