Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! What a wonderful time it is to celebrate our Savior’s birth and realize just how much God loved us by showing up as a little baby in a manger.

How Christmas started.

Another Merry Christmas is just days away and with it we want to share our joy and merry times with all Christians around the world. Whether single or not, every Christian understands the importance of that newborn baby boy over 2,000 years ago.

It wasn’t just a birth, rather, it was a miracle. And, because of that, we understand God’s love for his beloved children, including you and me. What a blessing to know that God became flesh in the form of that tiny little baby to redeem all humanity from their sins! All we have to do is respond to this free gift of salvation and accept Jesus into our lives as our Lord and Savior!

Every year on December 25, we Christians celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His birth brought humanity great joy and redemption to all who accepted Him as God’s Son who came to earth to bring the Good News to all.

Christmas is celebrated by Christians all over the world. It’s a symbolic date to represent God’s incredible love for all of us. Because of that very first Christmas, we know that our redemption was exactly the way God had planned it for all of us.

So It Begins

Nobody knows exactly when Jesus was born, but it was first celebrated in A.D. 336 by the first Christian Roman Emperor. That became a new tradition to commemorate Jesus’ birth during that time of the year.

The date isn’t as important as what Christmas is really all about: God’s unconditional love, peace, compassion, hope, mercy, Holiness, salvation, miracles, and humility that He wanted to show us and give to us His incredible real love (that we celebrate at Easter) through His death on the Cross.

Every Christmas is a great and joyful season for those who understand the sacrifice God made for us. That baby boy in the manger was no ordinary baby. He was the living God in human flesh.

The Lamb of God was made in human form and His perfect sacrifice was completed at the Cross. Without God’s plan, we couldn’t have a merry Christmas, nor could we  celebrate His victory over death at the Cross. Nothing could have happened if that baby wasn’t born in the little town of Bethlehem all those years ago.

Looking back, we understand and can recognize that, no matter how much we try, we could never have saved  ourselves. Jesus had to give up His heavenly position to come down to earth and show His children that He was God made in flesh, and that He came so we may have life, and have it abundantly, as the Holy Bible proclaims.

True Meaning of Merry Christmas

The simple and true meaning of Christmas for all of us, Believers or not, is to realize the love God has for us. He made the ultimate sacrifice of which we cannot conceive: Our God came down and became one of us, and died for our sins on the Cross.

So, when it is time for us to celebrate Christmas and its true meaning, remember that baby Who was no simple child, but was our beloved God made Man, who wanted to show His love for us by starting off as a human baby.

Please join us this Season and glorify God for being so good to us. Christmas is more than just a day in our calendar; it’s a true Gift from our perfect God.

Merry Christmas! Never forget that Jesus is real reason for the season!
